Meet Muzai, the leader of the Lost Ones who was banished from Jubilife Village 4 years before your arrival in Hisui!
DESCRIPTION
Muzai was a helpful boy known for being kind to both human and Pokémon alike before he was banished from Jubilife village for unknown reasons. His only friends were Zisu, who trained him and his Pokémon to survive the wilderness, Arezu, and Cyllene. Cyllene was especially worried for Muzai because he was only 15 at the time, so her Abra disappeared every now and then to check on him. However, Muzai would always shift camps and so it became hard for Cyllene to track him down. When Muzai was banished, he travelled all around Hisui and formed a group of people who were helpless or stranded. They called themselves “The Lost Ones” and posed a threat to anyone who stepped foot out of Jubilife, often stealing their goods, but they never hurt any Pokémon unless attacked first.
Muzai has encountered the Miss Fortune sisters before when they were attacking a few Lost Ones, and took out their Pokémon all at once only with his Decidueye. Ever since then, the Security Corps have been more careful when venturing outside of their village.
After Akari and Rei defeat him in a Pokémon battle, they bring him back to Jubilife and his reason of banishment becomes clearer.
Captain Kamado feared the villagers’ safety, since Muzai was the only one with an actually powerdul Pokémon among them, so he planned to cast his Pokémon out of the village in fear of them going out of control just like the alphas and Island Lords. However, Muzai refused to let his Pokémon leave the village all on their own, as it was dangerous to be out in the wilderness. So Kamado was forced to cast him out together with his Pokémon.
